POLICIES

  • Students are asked to give 24 hours notice when canceling a private or group lesson.  Students who do not call to cancel at least 8 hours prior to the lesson are subject to lesson being charged.
  • All lessons and classes must be paid for before they begin.
  • All students must sign in at the reception desk before entering the ballroom.  This includes individuals and couples using the floor for practice time.
  • Introductory offers and guest specials are a one-time offer for non-students and can not be combined or repeated.  The two private lessons may not be taken on the same day.
  • Proper dance shoes, though not required, are an important part of learning and are therefore recommended.  Shoes may be purchased in our retail store or through another dance shoe retailer.
  • Dance Colorado service charge for returned check collection is $25 per item, regardless of the amount of the check or the reason.
  • Relatives and friends watching lessons are asked to please be courteous while in the ballroom and silence cell phones. 
  • Students are responsible for remembering the times and dates of scheduled lessons.
  • Private lessons are 45 minutes.  Group classes are either 45 minutes or 1.5 hours in length.
  • If a student is late for a private lesson, the lesson will not be extended as this will delay the following lesson/class.  The lesson will still be charged as a full 45 minutes.
  • Studio closure due to inclement weather conditions will be announced on our answering machine.  Please call (719)473-1395 if you are unsure of a weather closure.  
  • If you would like to videotape your lesson, recording is permitted.
